Thank you for your support, we will continue to give you the our best services & even tastier dishes.

Miso, often described by others as a little cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown New Haven giving you a little taste of Japanese elegance. A Japanese restaurant which serves not only traditional Japanese dishes and sushi but also delicious new creations from our master head chef.

Everyday is a new delivery of fresh fish from the market, all hand picked by our owner. The owner selects only the best and freshest ingredients to be served to our customers. Enjoy the atmosphere and expect nothing but the best from Miso.

Because the owner feels a love for nature, Miso was constructed over a historic building site using all nature friendly materials. The exterior and interior column beams are all made with distinctive quality wood with over 100 years of age. The interior design is made from exquisite bamboo imported from the Far East as the chairs are all made from recycling lumber and the ceiling and walls are completed and filled with sound board recycling paper.

while you wait for your food, you can watch as the chef prepares your sushi at the sushi bar or enjoy a nice cocktail drink at the bar. The patio is another option for a nice quiet outdoor meal with a view of ninth square.
